VeilOnline is a realistic MMORPG without classes or levels, where power is defined not by numbers, but by experience, choices, and mastery. Based on Slavic mythology. The world reacts to players’ actions, territories change, and the Veil opens another reality with its own rules.

Gameplay overview

  • Open PvP with “quiet hours” (violations are punished).
  • Items have ranks; rare weapons unlock unique abilities.
  • Territories (mines / resource zones) — guild control and wars for influence.

Signature feature VeilOnline

Summoned beings come from the Veil and require Veil Energy, not food. When the energy runs out, the entity returns to the Veil, leaving behind an essence shard.

Status: pre-alpha / Concept, lore, and prototypes are in active development.

Freedom of progression

Skills grow through use. Any item can become a weapon if you know how to wield it.

Item ranks

The same weapon can vary in power and abilities depending on its rank (gray → orange).

Veil

Second dimension: energy, contracts, the ethereal layer. Some entities and items exist only there.

Territory control

Resource territories (mines, forests, crystals). Guild battles for control and economic influence.

Realism and sense of the world

Inventory weight, bags as items, and the impact of weather and temperature on combat and mobility.

Exploration & secrets

Rare events with long cooldowns, hidden items, and secret mechanics for cooperation.

World & lore (short)

The Great Crystal and the Shattering

The primordial Crystal Element gave rise to other elements after the Shattering. Through the fracture, corrupt magic spreads, infecting people and monsters — giving rise to enemy factions and servants of a dark god.

Enemy factions

The Crystallized, the Marivnyks, the Shadow Broods, the Crystal Miners — and the main physical enemy: The Crystal Lord of the Shattering.

Elements & cooperation

Each element unlocks unique mechanics and zones (darkness — short teleports, its own dimensions; others have their own). This encourages group interaction.

Quests

Concept: quests can be one-time (limited access), and part of the content is unlocked through discoveries and events, not through “kill 100 mobs.”
